realbooted)Okay, this dreamwidth thing is working out so far! I just need to find a new cool layout, and then I'm pretty much set. I don't really have anything to post about right now, but I needed an excuse to try out the cross-post feature (since yeah, I decided I'm going to crosspost in the end), so here we are!
Still quite a bit early, but I figured it wouldn't be too bad to write something down, so you get my... *DRAMATIC PAUSE*

Another forced hiatus.

Hopefully not for very long, but my apartment building's water heater exploded and dumped a ton of hot water into my apartment and cooked everything. Or rather, just ruined the cabinets and flooring and some personal belongings. I'm temporarily homeless and all of my supplies and my art computer are in the apartment still. I think the computer was safe, as it wasn't on the floor (close to it, but not on it)
They're replacing everything and I'm staying with friends until everything's fixed up. They were hoping to have it done by the time I was back in Texas (yesterday) but they're not even close. I didn't expect they would be, last week was a bad time to try to get anything like that done.
So, yeah. I'll be still sketching and inking comics but I won't be able to scan, color, post, until I'm back home.
... Sorry. I seem to have unfortunate luck at times.

realbooted)The annoying Best Buy popups are the worst thing LJ could choose to put up like ever, and I definitely don't want to buy a paid account again for a journal I rarely use. And really, it's something as horrifying as popups. I was never very active to begin with so it's no big deal, but I'm moving to DW, and you can find me there at ![[personal profile]](http://s.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png){kind=small}
despedia. I will still roleplay on LJ, but that's about it.

I love the beach at night. Nobody else around, just the ocean and the night sky. I really is very relaxing.
I feel weird sometimes though, because part of what relaxes me about it is how very, very small it makes me feel. Compared to the size of the ocean and how long it's existed, I'm not even a blip on the radar. And the lifetime of that ocean itself isn't even a blip on a cosmic level. And that kind of makes me feel relaxed and calm inside.
Don't people usually like to feel like they're more important though? :P
...and speaking of being totally important, this comic is the last one of 2009, which means I've gone the whole year without missing an update. Take that, ocean! :)
